Acolytes

The role of an acolyte is to assist the Clergy on the altar. Acolyte training is provided. Serving as an acolyte is an important way to participate in worship and learn more about church traditions.

Altar Guild

A parish group whose ministry is to care for the altar, vestments, vessels, and altar linens of the parish. Altar Guild members prepare the sanctuary for services, clean up afterwards, and guide seasonal decoration of the sanctuary.

Arts and Crafts

The Arts and Craft group meets every Tuesday; members with talents share their skills and expertise with others in a fun-loving environment. All are welcome.

Brotherhood of St. Andrew

Meets every 1st Saturday and has Corporate Communion every 1st Sunday.

 

The group of men and boys is an international ministry within the Episcopal-Anglican Communion dedicated to spread Christ’s Kingdom by means of prayer, study, and service. 

Choir/Music Ministry

Our services are enhanced by the beautiful voices of our choir accompanied by live music. There is weekly choir practice. New members are always welcome to join and share their gifts.

Cursillo

The key elements of the Episcopal Cursillo Ministry are relationships, evangelism, and reconciliation. Cursillo offers a supportive Christian community experience though Cursillo Weekends. Our Cursillo ministry meets quarterly.

Daughters of the King

Meets every 1st Saturday; have Corporate Communion every 1st Sunday.

 

This is an order for women who are communicants of the Episcopal Church. Members commit to a life of prayer, service, and evangelism, supporting the spiritual growth of the parish and the wider church community.

Episcopal Church Women 

Meet every 2nd Sunday after worship service excluding July and August.

 

The National Episcopal Church Women, ECW, champions women’s rights and the Christian foundation of God and family. It provides opportunities for fellowship, spiritual growth, and service, uniting women in support of the church’s mission locally and beyond.

Health Guild

Meet every 3rd Saturday.

 

This guild includes healthcare professionals and volunteers who provide health tips and respond to urgent needs during services. Lay Ministers support the Priest with pastoral care, visits to the sick and shut-ins, distributing Holy Communion, and assisting in other services.

Mothers Union

Meets every 3rd Saturday; have Corporate Communion every 3rd Sunday.

 

The Union is a Christian group that hasbeen supporting families worldwide, with 4 million+ members in 84 countries; they fight poverty, inequality, injustice, and help families.

Sunday School

Meets during the 9: 00 am Sunday Worship service.

 

Teaches the story of Jesus Christ and Christian life in an age-appropriate manner. Sunday School targets children ages 2 to high school seniors. 

Ushers Guild

Ushers assist in making people feel welcomed at church, assisting with people management and seating, minimizing distractions during the sermon and music, collecting offerings, recordkeeping, and maintaining a safe space during services.
